About

A precise color answer without an upload account.

Mallow Color Picker turns a supported image into exact pixel values, a compact dominant palette, and a readable contrast decision in one local workflow.

Pick a coordinate, not an approximation

Click, tap, enter X and Y coordinates, or move with the keyboard. The tool reports HEX, HEX8, RGB, HSL, and OKLCH from the same committed browser-decoded RGBA8 pixel.

A palette with a stated method

Palette extraction uses a reduced local sample, deterministic seeds, OKLab clustering, alpha weighting, and near-color merging. It aims for useful dominant colors, not a claim that one palette is the only correct interpretation of an image.

Contrast before you reuse a color

Any selected or extracted color can become foreground or background. The checker applies WCAG 2.2 luminance math and evaluates the unrounded ratio for normal and large text. It does not replace testing an entire interface with real content and states.

Local processing has a clear boundary

The image is decoded, sampled, and displayed inside this browser tab. There is no application upload, account, or image database. Read the exact hosting and storage boundary in the privacy policy.
